Mobility Driving - Pass your driving test with us - First time!

For the past 20 years I have taught students to drive both safely and expertly (rather than teaching them to simply pass their test!!!)

Trained by BSM, after 5 years of manual tuition I retrained with the Queen Elizabeth Foundation and became experience in Mobilising the Disabled.

During the last 15 years I have specialised in the field of training students with all sorts of diverse needs, whether neurological or physical.

In 2018, in line with DVSA regulations, I was re-asseed and continue to hold a Grade A licence (previously Grade 6). This is recognised as the highest level of competence.

With a first time pass rate of over 90%, of my students quickly realise their much sought independence.

My latest car is a Kia Venga. It has a 1.6 automatic gearbox and has been specially adapted with Infrared Controls, Left Foot Accelerator and Pull/Push Hand-controls, which means that I am able to train and retrain students with any mobility need.

Students are often referred by mobility centres and whilst some are young and have never driven, a large number require assistance in order to retain their driving licence and independence following illness or amputation.

Quite by chance this new, slightly higher wheel base car is particularly suitable for both both entry and egress.
